OUR MISSION

Develop a vibrant Christ-centered ministry to support people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and evangelize the word of God and transform lives by extending unwavering support to the Mooto village in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Through our Christian ministry, we are committed to spreading the message of hope, love, and faith, sharing the transformative power of the Gospel.

The Congo is a third world country in the heart of Africa. The people have very serious needs including physical health, food supply, and spiritual health. Clean water, electricity, sanitation, food storage, and food preparation areas are all areas of need. Availability of jobs is limited, job skills and education levels are low, and the people lack the resources to rise out of their situation purely on their own.

Our president and founder, Engobo Mambe, grew up here and thus has firsthand knowledge of the daily life challenges. He has a heart for helping people in his homeland, donated 11 acres of land, and built the shell of a building with his own funds. His vision is to develop a residence for missionaries and to use the facility for training, Church gatherings, and to build a vibrant Christ centered experience for the people there, to be called Mooto Ministries Center.

OUR GOALS

Here are the immediate and long term goals of Mooto Christian Ministries.

  • Raise funds to continue developing improvements to the buildings and 11 acres of land that we have in Mooto.
  • Provide trained Christian leaders to help people grow in their spiritual lives and make Disciples.
  • Provide economic opportunities for people, including job training and jobs that are related to our ministry.
  • Develop a “Trades” program, whereby the ministry can generate income to pay people for working, and to create economic sustainability for the ministry.
  • Drill a water well and built a water storage tank to provide clean drinking water for people in the area.
  • Expand into surrounding regions once this location is finished and stabilized.
